Our monthly meetings continue the 4th Wednesday of the month, with our next meeting on October 27, at 7:00 pm. We are still meeting on Zoom so pre-register in advance for your link: Meeting Registration - Zoom. You may find the agenda online.
We are looking forward to hearing from Marcy Boulet, community liaison at the Tacoma-Pierce Co Health Department, at our upcoming meeting. Marcy is the Covid-19 Community Engagement lead.

NO to baseless audits in WA!
|

Earlier this month, the Washington State Democratic Party filed motions to intervene in and dismiss lawsuits filed by Republican activists demanding baseless Arizona-style “audits” of the 2020 election results in counties across the state.
King and Pierce Counties were among eight targeted by a group called the Washington Election Integrity Coalition United. With no evidence to support their claims, the group alleged "voter fraud" nearly a year after the November 2020 elections.
Washington State Democratic Party Chair Tina Podlodowski noted, “These attacks on our democracy should outrage every American, regardless of their political affiliation." For more information, including a complete statement from our state Chair, checkout the 10/7/21, press release on this matter.

Annual dues are $31 per calendar year, and are a significant portion of our operating budget. While our general meetings are open to all, only dues-paying members have voting privileges. Reduced dues are available in limited income situations that include, but aren’t limited to veteran, senior and/or student status, with a minimum of $5 that ensures full rights and privileges.
