We also invite you to come join our book club focused on environmental issues, and come join us for Auburn Clean Sweep on April 22. We have lots of ways for you get involved with the 31st Democrats this year, and I'd love for you to join us. – Sarah Edwards, Chair

Call To Meeting - March 22

You are invited to participate in our next monthly meeting, which will be held Wednesday, March 22, at 7:00 pm on Zoom.   Our special guest speaker will be Representative Derek Kilmer, US Congressman for the WA 6th Congressional District!

Rep. Kilmer is a new face to the 31st – in the last redistricting we acquired overlap with the City of Milton and other areas that are in his district.  He's a champion for environmental concerns and other local causes and we're very happy to have him joining us on March 22!

At our next meeting we will be considering some proposed amendments to our bylaws. These amendments were posted to our website 30 days in advance, as required, and may be viewed here. You can view our current bylaws here.

The meeting link button below will allow you to pre-register in advance or join the meeting once it is in progress.  A link to the meeting's agenda is provided below and will be updated prior to the meeting.

** A FYI – at our April meeting (not March), we will be meeting in a hybrid fashion with in-person at the Marion Grange and also online attendance!

Zoom/Virtual Meeting Coordinator Needed

Calling all prospective volunteers!  As we move back to hybrid meetings, we are in need of a Zoom Coordinator – our Super Zoomer – to help at our monthly meetings.  This Zoom Star will manage the meetings on the virtual side, admitting people to the meeting, timing presentations, monitoring votes, polls, and chat, to have one central point of contact and free up the Chair to be able to move our meeting along!  This time requirement is once a month for up to approximately two hours.  For more info or to volunteer, contact our Membership Chair, Tamara, by emailing her here.

Year of the Environment - Auburn Clean Sweep

As part of our Year of the Environment, we will be working together as a group to clean and beautify a location in Auburn (TBA) on Earth Day, as part of Auburn Clean Sweep!  To RSVP to the 31st either click the button below, if you use Facebook, or email Sarah Edwards so we know how many folks we'll have in our group. We look forward to seeing you!
